Hannah Jackson, known as the Red Shepherdess, is a self-employed contract shepherdess who works across many Lake District and Eden Valley farms. as well as further afield in the UK and Australia. She runs 250 breeding sheep over 65 acres.

Over 100,000 people follow her journey everyday across social media. It initially served as a tool to help connect her with farmers, but now it is a window to share farming life with people who have become disconnected with the countryside and where their food comes from.
